Shimla : Several hundred landline phones are not working in Shimla’s upcoming Panthaghati region , this has also affected broadband services in the area .The services are down due to theft of a telephone cable .
Residents are complaining of phones not being restored despite repeated complaints to the BSNL authorities .
BSNL officials acknowledged disruption of telephone services in the area and that efforts were being to install a new cable .
BSNL’s 2 G internet services are completely down across Himachal Pradesh for the last couple of days , subscribers said .
