Shimla: Two rape cases were reported, including that of a minor, in Shimla district. In the rape of a 16 year old minor, three boys Pankaj, Sunny and Dinesh in Kumarsain tehsil have been arrested.
According to the victims’ statement, the boys on Friday morning brought the girl to a field and had intercourse with her one by one, without her consent.
A medical examination of the girl, a resident of Malandi village in Kumarsain, was got conducted and the investigating team is awaiting the report, said a police spokesman.
In the second case, Sumitha (name changed), a married woman from Manghara village in Chirgaon regions of Rohru, has lodged a rape complaint that one Dinesh Kumar, a resident of the same village raped her.
A medical examination of the lady has been conducted, a police spokesman said.
