Shimla :A woman in the Sunni area of Himachal Pradesh allegedly jumped into the raging Sutlej river Thursday,police said.
The incident took place at around 2 P.M.,when locals reported the matter to the local police,the woman a school teacher left behind her purse on the bridge.
No trace of the woman has been found downstream.Police have found a mobile phone in her purse and have contacted her family in Kandaghat area,reports said.
