Two people were killed in flash floods in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra valley,police said Friday.
The incident took place at a spot some 10 km from Palampur Thursday when a nano car was swept away by a swollen stream.
The driver of the car and a woman were drowned, while another woman swam to safety.
Both the bodies were recovered downstream by divers later in the evening,reports said.
Parts of the Kangra valley including Dharamsala were hit by sharp monsoon showers which triggered floods in streams and rivers.
