Shimla : Bharti Airtel on Thursday appointed Shishir Kumar as CEO of the company’s business to customer(B2C) operations in upper north which includes Himachal,Punjab,Haryana, Chandigarh and Jammu & Kashmir.
“As we move into the next phase of our growth journey,Shishir Kumar takes over in his new role of CEO upper north,†said Ajay Puri,operations director North.
Airtel’s new structure is aimed at driving greater business and functional synergies,providing a common interface to customers and creating a de-layered and more agile organisation.
It aligns the new organisation structure recently announced for its India and South Asia operations.It reinforces the company’s strategic transformation towards a ‘customer’ facing model.
Airtel’s transformed organisation structure has two distinct customer business units and clear focus B2C segments.
