Shimla: Hockey Himachal announced selection trials for picking the team that will represent the team at the Senior Men National Championship to be played at Bhopal from June 10 to June 19.
Anurag Thakur, secretary Hockey Himachal said that the selection trials would be conducted on May 14th at 3 p.m. at Degree College Ground at Sundernagar.
The selection trials are being conducted as per instructions issued by Vidya Stokes, president Hockey Himachal, said Thakur.
The national championship would be organized by Hockey India.
Thakur asked all interested candidates to report at the trail venue for being considered for selection into the state team.
The selection team would consist of Sumender Sharma as chairman and Lalita Sharma, Ramesh Pathania, Suresh Thakur and GB Gangwal as members, said the general secretary of Hockey Himachal.
