Two teenaged women fell into the Ravi river and were drowned in the Chamba valley Friday,police said.
The two women aged 18 and 19 were returning home after grazing cattle in the nearby forest and fell into the raging Ravi river near Dhagi village in the Bharmaur area.
Police is investigating how the two fell into the river from a winding road at the edge of the river.
In another incident in Chamba district Friday a cement loaded truck plunged into a 500 feet deep gorge,both the driver and the conductor are missing. A search party is looking for them,police said.
