Shimla: Annual plan lending targets for Banks in Shimla district have been fixed at Rs 1636 crores, deputy commissioner Onkar Sharma disclosed after presiding over an annual loaning plan here today.
Sharma said that priority had been accorded to medium and small industry, home loan and education loans for which a loan target of Rs 514 crore has been fixed.
Loans targets for non-priority sector has been put at Rs 285 crore, for agriculture the target was Rs 287 crore and for crop loans it was Rs 189 crore, he said. Besides this a loan target amount of Rs 170 was made out for self employment avenues, he added.
