Shimla: Young woman and girl found murdered in sirmaur district Nahan March 17: A 32 years old woman and a nine years old girl child were been recovered from village Dhimki, on the bank of Markanda river, about 8 K.M. from Nahan, on Nahan- Paonta road today.
The residents of the area noticed one of the 32 inch long suitcases laying at Dhimki on the bank of Markanda river last night. The
suitcase had opened as it was thrown from a height on Nahan – Paonta road and some parts of the dead body came out of it. The police was informed and dead body of a nine years old girl was recovered from the suit case late last night.
When a police team led by S.P Punita Bhardwaj visited the spot, another suit case was found behind the bushes at the same place when a
search was carried out. Dead body of 32 years woman was found packed in the suit case. S.P. said that both the dead bodies could not be identified till this afternoon. The modus operandi of both the murders appears to be same.
two separate cases Cases for murder, under section 302 of IPC have been registered in the Nahan police station. It appeared that both
the bodies were thrown here after committing murder somewhere else. The Police of neighboring states have been informed and investiogations aree in progress while the deadd bodiess had been sent for post mortem.
