Shimla: Three persons were killed on the spot and another three have been injured when a Maruti Alto car lost control and fell into a gorge on the Kingal-Sunni road, on Monday.
Supervising the rescue operation, Sunni SHO Jai Singh from the spot let My Himachal News know that the car was going from Rampur to Shimla.
The vehicle (HP 52A 3884) lost control and fell about 300 feet into the valley near Malgi Pul, he said.
The injured have been shifted to Sunni Primary Health Centre and the dead have been recovered.
The indentities of the injured and the dead was yet to be established and verified, said Jai Singh.

There appears to be an error in the report. The Rampur – Kingal- Basantpur road does not passes through Sunni at all. If one travel on this road then from Basantpur one passes through Naldehra and then on to Shimla where as Sunni is to the opposite direction to Shimla from Basantpur.
There is another road from Sainj – Luhri – Sunni – Basantpur and to Shimla. Did the accident happened on this road or on the Kingal – Basantpur road?
