Dharamshala: Dr. S.S.Kanwar, Professor & Head, Department of Microbiology, CSK Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University, has been conferred with ‘Best Publication of the Year Award’ in the area of biological sciences by the Global Open University Nagaland, World Management Congress Committee, Commonwealth of Distance Education Summit and the Confederation of Indian Universities.
For its outstanding contribution in the area of library and documentation services, the University Library has also been conferred with ‘Best Library of the Year Award’ by the same organizations. According to Dr Kahan Bassi, University Librarian, the award has been instituted by the International Association of Educators for the World Peace.
Dr.S.K.Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, has appreciated the efforts of Dr.S.S.Kanwar and Dr.Kahan Bassi for bringing laurels to the University.
