Shimla: Three persons died and 3 others were injured when a Himachal Roadways (HP-3B-6025) bus lost control and fell into the valley, near the Shimla airport at Jubbar Hatti.
The bus was on its way from Bhawana to Shimla, when it met with an accident act about 5 p.m. today, said a police spokesman.
Among the dead was a woman Kamla Devi. The other two killed in the mishap have been identified as Prakash Chand and Virinder.
Those injured include the driver, Bhagat Singh and Dinesh, the policeman said. The injured have been shifted to IGMC hospital. There were only 6 people in the bus when the accident occurred, he added.
Cause of the accident was not known. The police have registered a case and the accident was being investigated.
