Woman found hanging dead at home in Shimla

Shimla: A young woman Rajni Chavaniya (26) was found hanging dead in her house in Shimla today and a suicide note was recovered from the spot.

District police chief RM Sharma said that the woman found dead was the wife of one Raghvinder Chavaniya, a resident of Gwalior, who is working with National Council for Development Corporation.

He said the police were awaiting the parents of the girl to record their statements before ruling out any foul play in the reported suicide case.

Other sources disclosed that the woman in the suicide note had not given out any reasons for taking the extreme step.

Raghvinder, who had taken their one and half year old son for a medical check up at a local hospital, on returning to their residence in Kaithu had discovered his wife hanging dead.
