Shimla: Addressing a huge gathering of farmers at the inaugural session of two day long Kisan Mela at the Regional Horticulture and Forestry Research Centre at Neri near Hamirpur, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal asked the horticulture scientists to percolate the valuable research to the fields to benefit the farmers and orchardists by increasing productivity and make them self reliant.
He dedicated the newly constructed laboratory at a cost of Rs. 30 lacs to the people on this occasion.
Raised in Shimla and originally from Mandi district, Disha wears many caps which includes being part of a lead team of a fast growing IT company based out of Chandigarh. Earlier Disha was associated with My Himachal and visits Shimla regularly.
