Chamba: According to District Police Chief Madhu Sudan Sharma, Chamba police arrested two persons on bike while the former were checking vehicles and later crossed them near Gunu nullah on Chamba-Tissa road when being stopped for checking.
On being chased by the Police recovered 11.5 kilos charas (cannabis) from them near Kandla village.
He added that Chamba Police has recovered about 40 kgs charas from different raids and searches in the month of January, which is a record in itself in the district.
