Shimla: ICICI, the countryâ€™s leading private sector bank today opened a new branch at Kangra, making it the 13th branch in the state. Bank spokesperson Charudatta Deshpande stated that RS Gupta, Deputy Commissioner Kangra inaugurated the new branch.
The branch would offer entire range of ICICI products which includes deposits, mutual funds, current accounts, saving accounts, NRI services and investment services that would cater to different customer profiles and needs, said the spokesperson.
ICICI Bank with over 1500 branches and 4860 ATMs is the countryâ€™s second largest bank that on September, 2009 had consolidated total assets of about US $ 102 billion. The bankâ€™s subsidiaries include private sector insurance companies, securities brokerage firm, mutual fund and private equity firm. Other than India, the bank has a presence in 18 countries.
