Shimla : A double murder shocked residents of Mathiana-Theog, when Om Prakash (45), a elected block development council (BDC) member and his close relative Ganga Ram (42) were found dead in the middle of the night, apparently having been clobbered to death with stones and sticks.
Two persons Dev Raj (26) and Virender (22) were rounded up for the double murder and they have confessed to their crime, said Man Singh Thakur, DySP Theog.

Ajay Kalia, ASI Mathiana reached the spot at night and rounded up suspected persons who were in Garh-Kopper at the time when the murder took place.
A dog squad, finger print and forensic experts were pressed to collect scientific evidence. Investigations about involvement of other people being involved in the crime were on. Most of the injuries noticed were on the head and face that had been badly clobbered with sticks and stones, said Thakur.
