Shimla: Himachal tourism in collaboration with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) are to organise a two day conclave and the four day Shimla Mega Mart starting from June 12, Manisha Nanda, secretary tourism disclosed.
The conclave being held on June 12 and 13 is themed as ‘Unforgettable Himachal: Opportunities Unlimited.’ The Shimla Mega Mart would be held at the Rigde between June 12 and 15, said Nanda.
The objective of the conclave was to showcase Himachal Pradesh as an investment destination both at the national and international level.
The main sessions during the conclave would focus on infrastructure: need of the state, new tourism trends with special focus on strategy for developing health tourism, eco-tourism, adventure tourism, developing Himachal as a film destination and on proposed policy direction plan for sustainable tourism development, she said.
Shimla Mega Mart would present different facets of state which include different products, art, handloom, handicrafts, agricultural and horticultural produces will be displayed.
