Shimla: Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Sarveen Chaudhary, today disclosed that for the upliftment of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes State govt. has initiated various schemes for which, the Plan size of Scheduled Caste Sub Plan increased to Rs. 594 crore from last year’s Rs. 231 crore.
She said that Govt. has increased existing housing subsidy for construction of houses from Rs 27,500 to Rs 38,500 and the subsidy for repair and upgradation of the houses has also been enhanced from Rs 12,500 to Rs 15,000.
Raised in Shimla and originally from Mandi district, Disha wears many caps which includes being part of a lead team of a fast growing IT company based out of Chandigarh. Earlier Disha was associated with My Himachal and visits Shimla regularly.
