Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Police has recovered the body of a 50 year old man, who reportedly fell of a rock face two days while on way to the house of his relatives in Rohru area of Shimla Hills.
Investigating officer Surinder Justa ruled out any foul play in the death of Nirmu Ram (50) whose body on Sunday was recovered from the bank of Pawar rivulet, close to Shakrali village.
“Nirmu used to work as a tailor in Chirgaon and preliminary investigation reveal that he was going for a social function to his sister house when he fell out of the path that went over a cliff and died on the spot,” said Justa.
Nothing suspicious has emerged about the bodies recovered, he said adding that the person is reported to have fallen two days ago but the body was only sighted on Sunday afternoon.
