About 30 regional leaders, who are far ahead on climate action in areas ranging from energy efficiency, renewable energy, and clean transportation to adaptation, would deliberate upon ways to accelerate the deployment of energy efficiency, low carbon technology and clean energy in the Summit.
He said that detailed discussions to draw attention towards low carbon economic opportunities in key regions of India and China and to showcase path-breaking innovations underway in these regions would also be held besides chalking out further action plan to reduce the impact of climate change and stimulate a low carbon economy.
Congratulations to Mr. Dhumal.
HP government has always welcomed such moves.
It is good that the CM will share the knowledge on climate change in this summit. Fortunately, he will be have no problems in financing his trip from the exchequer and do not have to bear the brunt of babudom for the necessary permission to leave the country.
The researchers of state, who are invited/sponsored to international conferences by the virtue of selection of their research work, are no so lucky to get benevolence of all the babus in long departmental channels.
