Shimla: HK Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited was conferred the Hind Gaurav Award by Indian Society for Industry Intellectual Development (ISIID). The award had been presented by Subodh Kant Sahai, minister of state, food processing industries at Delhi.
Sharma was honoured for his exemplary management of hydro power projects of the corporation. SJVN operates the country’s largest 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydoelectric Project in Himachal Pradesh and executing four more projects in the state. The public sector company is also executing the hydroelectric projects in Uttarakhand and one Project in Nepal besides preparing DPR of two projects in Bhutan.
