Shimla: While addressing a public meeting at Marahana in Ghumarwin Sub Division of Bilaspur district today, Chief Minister, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, said that construction of Rs. 64 crore Drinking Water Supply Scheme by lifting water from Kol Dam Project would be started soon to benefit 180 villages of Bilaspur.
He said that this Drinking Water Supply Scheme was envisioned to provide adequate and safe water supply for consumption, and looks forward to lay its foundation stone soon to start the construction work as early as possible.
He also laid foundation stone of lift drinking water supply scheme Kamli-Kothi- Ghandalwin estimated to cost of Rs. 1.25 crore to benefit about 5500 residents of 22 habitations of the area.
