Shimla: Five persons including two women were killed on the spot and seven other injured when the vehicle they were traveling in went off the road and rolled down the hillside near Baghi, close to the tourist town of Narkanda, about 75 kilometers from here.
The heavy duty Sumo vehicle in which the passengers were traveling at night time was on its way from Sangla in Kinnaur to Baghi when it met with the accident, the police said.
The dead have been identified as Dawagya Ram 40, his wife Ramapati 38, Neema Dorze 38, Radha 32 and Raju 24, the police said. Of the injured two had been shifted to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla, they said.
