In an impressive ceremony at Raj Bhawan today, Prabha Rau was administered oath as Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
The oath was administered by the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court as Asha Swaroop, the Chief Secretary read out the warrant of appointment issued by the President of India appointing her as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
After assuming the office, she inspected the Guard of Honor. Various minsters and dignitaries were present at the occasion.
