The State Level Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority in its 32nd meeting under the Chairmanship of P.K Dhumal, the Chief Minister cleared nine new industrial proposals for setting up projects at different places in the state.
As per the CM, the nine new proposals would attract an investment of1, 095 crores and generate employment to over 3,100 people; the projects include proposals like M/S Met Trade India Limited which would be investing 497.87 crores, Plaza General Cable Energy Limited etc. He said that the state government would be discouraging industrial proposals with high pollution, power consumption and low employment generation potential, neither would allow any industrial activity at the cost of the environment and interest of the state.
