KUMARHATTI: Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, CM has awarded the token of honour to the outstanding students of the St. Marry School, Kasauli during its Golden Jubilee Celebration last evening. Addressing the gathering, the CM said that the endeavour of the School was imparting quality education to its students. He said that more such milestones would be established by the school in the coming years.
He congratulated the school management on successful completion of 50 years. He said it was itself more than satisfactory for any educational institution to complete half a century of its functioning. He lauded the academic achievements of school in past.
The CM said that the endeavour of any educational institute should be to support economically weaker section of the society. He also released a school’s souvenir to mark the occasion.
Earlier, Mother Cristel Provincial welcomed the CM and apprised him of the achievements of school in last 50 years. She also read the annual report of the school. During occasion, the school children presented a variety cultural programme to mark the celebration.
Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Health Minister, Mr. Harinarayan Singh Saini, Dr. Rajeev Sajel, Mrs. Vinod Chandel, all BJP sitting MLAs, Father Thomas Anzaniel Administrator of Shimla-Chandigarh diocese, Sister Zonima Principal of the School, Sister Renet, Vice Principal, Sister Kanthe Ex-Principal, Mr. Varinder Kashyap Ex-Chairman, State Market Board, Dr. Amandeep Garg, DC, Solan and Mr. S.P.S. Verma, SP, Solan were also presented during occasion.
