Himachal to ask for extended special industrial package

Prem Kumar Dhumal, the Chief Minister said that State would ask the Union Government in association with Special Category States of Uttrakhand and Jammu and Kashmir to get the special industrial package extended up to 2013. He said that the pace of industrialization would be given a priority to increase employment opportunities.

He further said that zero tolerance was being observed for the corruption as he appealed to people to bring any case of corruption to the notice of the State Government with substantial documentary proof so that action can be taken. A133 KV Sub Station is being set up in the Tehliwal industrial area to meet the power requirements of the industrialists
