KUMARHATTI: A pall of gloom descended at Kawan village of Diggal panchayat near Nalagarh after dead body of Havildhar, Satwinder Singh (23) reached there today. Satwinder Singh who had completed his training at AEC Training College and Center, Panchmadi, Madya Pradesh was found dead under Sikendra police station near Agra on June 4.
According to Mr. Sarabjeet Singh, Niak Subedhar who came along with dead body on behalf of Brigadier, Sandeep Kumar, the deceased was returning back to home in train after completing the train in Army Education Core. Near Sikendra he had reportedly fallen from running train. His body was traced in bushes along the rail track.
The deceased family was informed about the incidence on June 5 by the AEC after police verified the identity of deceased.
Satwinder Singh was quite brilliant in the studies. He was topper in B.Sc examination at P.G. College, Nalagarh. He was directly selected for Army Education Core for training on May 27th, 2007.
The mortal remain of Satwinder Singh was consigned to flame with full military honours in the presence of large gathering of villagers. Ms. Vinod Chandel the sitting BJP MLA from Doon attended the funeral while from administration , Mr. Thakur Lal Negi the Naib Tehsildhar, Ramshehr laid wreath on body.
Mr. Jagat Ram Kaushal and Mrs. Ram Pyari the parents of deceased were inconsolable over the sudden death of their young son.
