Thakur Gulab Singh, the Revenue Minister today in a meeting reviewed the availability of drinking water and fodder in the state in wake of prevailing conditions that point towards drought. He said that effective measures were being taken in lieu of the already existing scarcity problem while water tanks are being circulated in areas where there is a scarcity. He further said that fodder was being imported from other states, while 24.20 crores have been sanctioned by the state government to tackle the conditions. The amount would be spent on providing gratuitous relief, drinking water and transportation subsidy for fodder.
