The Chief Electoral Officer, Himachal Pradesh has requested/advised the Administrative Secretaries and staff from whole of the state to ensure that no violation of Conduct Rules takes place during the bye-election for Hamirpur PC.
A spokesperson explained that no government servant can act as election agent, polling agent or counting agent and if anybody is found violating these rules and instructions, they should be brought to the notice of Election Department immediately.
