The state Government would be considering developing a transport town in Baddi’s industrial area so as to facilitate truck operators with necessary facilities, in order to improve their functioning. Addressing a public meeting at Darlaghat, Chief Minister said that the government is keeping a strict vigil over the hoarders and taking disciplinary action against them for over-stocking the essential commodities.
He was presented with a draft of 5 lakhs by Mr. Rattan Mishra, the President Solan District Truck Operators Cooperative Society as a contribution towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund. He was made familiar with the various demands of truck operators while he assured them of fulfilling of the genuine ones.
