Shimla: Airtel, the leading mobile player in Himachal circle has surpassed the 8 lakh subscriber base in the state, the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) data for end of March mentions.
A spokesman for the company said that Airtel had presence in all 12 districts of the state and was providing coverage on all 57 census towns. Sanjay Bahl, COO, Airtel Haryana, Punjab & Himachal Pradesh said that the March 31st count for Airtel subscribers in Himachal by COAI has been put at 8,05,399.
“We are consistently scaling up reach and accessibility on the back of a robust network across the state, he said.
