Shimla: Thieves broke into chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, Samirpur residence in Hamirpur district on Monday night.
Taking a serious note of it, Dhumal has asked the police to investigate the matter in earnest.
Media reports state that the thieves got into the chief ministers house by breaking a window. No information about what things have gone missing is available.
At the time of the break-in, there was nobody in the house.
The police have registered a case.
So far no one has been arrested for the attempted robbery.
