Shimla: About 30 persons were reported injured when a Himachal roadways (HRTC) bus fell off the road, late in the evening, near Shimla on Sunday.
District police chief AP Singh said the bus was on it way to Kotkhai from Shimla when it went off the road near Dhalli, a Shimla suburb.
“The accident occurred at about 7 p.m. So far there are no casualties and the injured have been moved to the state hospital,†said Singh. The bus is said to have rolled about 200 feet down the hill before it came to a stop.
Close proximity of Dhalli suburb helped to muster timely help and the accident victims were rescued and shifted to IGMC hospital for first aid, said the police chief.
