Shimla: The Himachal government has made administrative changes and Ajay Mittal has been made principal secretary multi purpose project and power (MPP). Principal secretary JP Negi, who was holding the charge of MPP now would be handling horticulture, biotechnology and environment, chief secretary Ravi Dingra informed.
Mittal besides holding additional charge of Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) would also be looking after the department of non-conventional energy sources.
Principal secretary home S Vijay Kumar is proceeding on central deputation and was likely to be relieved from his services here soon, said the chief secretary.
Senior officer Bhim Sen has assumed office of principal secretary to the chief minister while Arun Sharma has been appointed as the chief minister’s private secretary.
