KUMARHATTI: Mr. Yogesh Jaswal, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kasauli Sub Judge’s court has sentenced Baldev for 3-year imprisonment for his involvement in phone cable theft cases. Announcing sentence yesterday, Mr. Jaswal has also fined Rs. 3000 to Baldev. In case Baldev failed to pay the fine he would have to undergo 3-month more imprisonment.
Baldev was arrested by the Parwanoo police on September 2, 2007. In police custody, Baldev has confessed to his involvement in four cable theft cases.
