Shimla: The helicopter carrying Sushma Swaraj for an election address at Gandhi Maidan in Nagrota Bagwan was not allowed to land as GS Bali the congress candidate from the constituency was holding a public meeting there.
Both Congress and BJP claimed that they had sought the permission from the concerned authorities for their respective purposes. The helicopter after taking three rounds was asked by the authorities to land at the Gaggal airport.
Surprisingly the helicopter was not allowed to land at Gaggal airport also too and the pilot was asked to proceed to Dharamshala for the landing. Ultimately the Sushma Swaraj landed at Dharamshala more than 25 kms away from the venue of the public meeting.
Sushma Swaraj drove from Dharamshala to Nagrota Bagwan and after her arrival at Nagrota Bagwan alleged that the administration in connivance with GS Bali had created a stumbling block for her so that she did not address the gathering in the town.
BJP has lodged an complaint about the matter with the Election commission.
