Shimla: The Himachal cabinet at its meet yesterday decided to abide by the mandate that would be thrown up in the election result and do whatever is expected under the circumstances.
Chief minister Virbhadra Singh stated, “In case we do not get a majority or form the government, which is unlikely, then we will do what is expected of us under the circumstances.
He said that the cabinet at its meet yesterday had decided that if the congress does not get a majority, then keeping the highest traditions of congress party and our commitment to democratic norms in view, we will resign.
