Former Union Minister and National BJP Vice President Murli Manohar Joshi said that the Union government had been playing in the hand of USA and mortgaged the country in foreign hands, while addressing a BJP rally at Paonta Sahib of Nahan district today.
He said that Union Government has be unfair to the farmers of the country as their wheat was bought for Rs. 800 per quintal while low standard wheat was purchased from USA for Rs. 1400 per quintal, thus exploiting farmers. If the same rate was paid to Indian farmers then there would have been no shortage of wheat in India, he said.
He further added that the price rise faced by the country is because of the corruption of the Union government.
He also alleged Virbhadra Government for failing to provide any irrigation scheme to the farmers and stagnating development in Himachal Pradesh.
Thus, urging public to vote in BJP’s favour and get them to power so that they can bring back the achievements and progress for the welfare of Himachal residents.
