KUMARHATTI: In a good show of strength that could give Congress a run for its money the BJP today hold a massive rally from Dharampur to Solan to file nomination of its official candidate, Dr. Vijay Saizal from Kasauli constituency.
It may be mentioned here that BJP was in news for wrong reason after 17 candidates had applied for Kasauli seat thus leaving party high command in a fix.
The 13 out of 17 aspirants for seat joined the rally including the former MLAs Mr. Chaman Lal Gachli and Mr. Satpal Kamboj. Mr. Virender Kashayap the former party candidate for seat and senior BJP leader could not attend the rally as he was not well, informed Mr. Narinder Thakur the media spokesman of Solan BJP.
Over 1000 party workers attended the rally that virtually choked the Kalka-Shimla national highway.
