An earth quake of low intensity measuring 3.2 on Richter scale shook various parts of the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh at 13.36 hrs today, sources in the Seismological Department said. The tremor lasted about thirty second as a result people came out of their houses, shops and other establishments into open for safety.
However, there was no immediate report of any loss of life and property in the state due to the quake, official sources said.
This is second time in one week that the Chamba district was rocked by an earth quake.
