Himachal CM today launched the Patta Distribution Campaign to the eligible houseless families in the State from district Kangra at Dharamshala, by handing over the ownership revenue papers of two biswas of land to the eligible families heads named Mrs. Kamla Devi, W/o Late Salim of Dari village (Dharamshala), Mohinder Singh S/o Amar Singh of village Gabli Dari , (Dharamshala), Om Prakash, S/o Tara Chand of village Sudher (Dharamshala) , Mrs. Surestha Devi , W/o Late Jagdish Chand of village Kasba Narwana (Dharamshala), Des Raj , S/o Pundi Ram, village Kand, (Dharamshala), Mrs. Gayatri Devi, D/o Suba Ram, village Traimbla (Kangra), Diwan Chand , S/o Chamaru Ram, Village Majhairn (Baijnath), Deepak, S/o Late Tara Chand, resident of Ward No.7 (Nurpur), Harbans Lal, S/o Surjan Singh, Village Sudrahar (Nurpur), Bachiter Singh, S/o Bhagat Ram, Village Thapkour (Nurpur), Prem Chand, S/o Dhanu Ram, village Jachh (Nurpur), Karam Chand, S/o Kiharu Ram, Village Chakvan, (Jwali), Shoki, S/o Ghoti, village Sidhpur Dhar, Karam Chand, S/o Jhujhu Ram, Village Katholi (Jwali), Puran Chand, S/o Mast Ram, village Harsar (Jwali) and Mrs. Kalan Devi, W/o Late Vir Singh, Village Samkehar (Jwali), of district Kangra.
Vir Bhadra Singh said that such families would not be permitted the allotted land in the name of any person by way of sale or gift deed and in such cases the allotted land would vest in the State Government and rendering such people ineligible to get the land for house construction again. He said that his Government was committed to carry social welfare activities for the socio-economic upliftment of the down trodden in letter and spirit so that social and economic uniformity was brought in the society.
