As per HP Tourism spokesman, Himachal Pradesh is one of the seventeen States of the country to participate in the National Tourism Fair being organized from 14th to 16th September at Ahmedabad.
Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation would set up an Information Centre and a stall which would provide information to the visitors about the increasing potential of Himachal Pradesh from tourism point of view.
Apart form the distribution and sale of publicity literature, documentary films produced by Information and Public Relations and Himachal Tourism Departments about the art, culture and development of Himachal Pradesh would also be screened during the three day tourism festival.
The fair would provide an opportunity to the prospective tourists of Gujarat to plan their package tours to Himachal Pradesh.
Focus of the Department would be to publicise and market the new Tourist Circuits of the State apart from promoting adventure tourism trekking etc. Hoteliers, travel agents, travel portals, Government and Corporate agencies engaged in the promotion of tourism would participate in the fair.
