The ongoing agitation of Jeish Shoe Factory situated at Dhaulan Kuan this evening got political support of BJP as Paonta BJP MLA Sukh Ram Chaudhri visited the agitating factory workers camp in front of the factory and addressed them.
Mr Chaudhri extended his full support to the on going agitation of factory workers and announced that after coming in power in the state BJP would enact a law to completely ban engagement of factory workers through contractors in the factories which had been common practice at present. He said that such law is the need of hour to stop exploitation of factory workers. He charged that during its more than four year rule Congress government did nothing for the welfare of factory workers in the state and had just bluffed workers by making only false announcements in this regard.
