The Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile will hold its general session this September in Dharamsala.
This would be the fourth session of the incumbent, 14th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile. Dharamsala is the abode of Tibetan Spiritual Guru and political head, the Dalai Lama.
The session will start on 24 September and will run to 4 October.
The Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile is the highest legislative organ of the exile polity.
As of now, it has 43 members who represent the traditional regions and religions of Tibet.
The 43 members are democratically elected by the Tibetan exiles above 18 years of age, from their respective constituencies.
