Dhumal demands affidavit from Vir Bhadra Singh

Former Chief Minister and newly elected Member of Parliament from the Hamirpur constituency, Prem Kumar Dhumal has challenged Virbhadra Singh to file an Affidavit in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, denying that the voice in the CD released by Vijay Singh Mankotia did not belong to him and his wife Pratibha Singh.

Talking to media persons at Chintpurni shrine after paying his obeisance here last night, Dhumal said the Chief Minister was trying to brush aside the serious allegations by saying that the CD was more than 15 years old or by producing a fake and flimsy forensic report on the CD. He said the people of the state recognize the popular voice of the Chief Minister and that the voice unmistakably belonged to Virbhadra Singh.

Earlier, on reaching Chintpurni, Dhumal headed straight for the Chinturni shrine where he paid his obeisance after being declared elected from the Hamirpur Parliamentary seat for the third time. He was accompanied by former Minister Praveen Sharma and was given a warm welcome by the party workers.
