Chief Minister, released the book ‘ Kinnar Desh Ka Itihas’ , authored by Tashi Tshering Negi, a tribal scholar, at Shimla.
The book contained the valuable information with regard to the life and culture in the earlier times in tribal district of Kinnaur and would be a valuable document to the research scholars and enthusiasts. He said that this compilation was not only informative but exhibits the hidden talent of the writer. He said that the book depicted the various ancient periods with then minutest details and traditions, customs prevalent during earlier periods.
The book would also inspire the researchers and budding writers besides introducing the tourists about the rich cultural heritage of the district. He said that the state government had been extending best cooperation and assistance to the budding writers and organizing various workshops and seminars to provide them platform to exhibit their talent.
