The State Government has envisioned the Four-lane Express Highway to connect district Kangra via Una, to facilitate vehicular movement and second phase of Mehatpur Industrial area would be developed and land acquisition carried expeditiously.
Chief Minister revealed it, while addressing a public meeting in Dehlan village in Una Assembly segment of district Una today on the 4th day of his 5 days long sojourn to district Una, in the first leg of the winter sojourn, on 17th Day, after he dedicated the Municipal Shopping Complex constructed at a cost of Rs. 54 crore and science block of the Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Basdehara completed at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh to the people of the area.
CM said that road and bridge connectivity in Una district was on the increase which had been constructed in large number of make every area approachable all round the year. He said that constructing roads and bridges in adverse geophysical condition was a herculean task, which Government had been accomplishing to fulfill the developmental urge of the people.
