Rahul Bose

It was nice to know the appriciative words of Rahul Bose about the hills, yet another person who loves the Hills. In this interview he did with Rediff I came to know he grew up in Kasauli.

Rahul’s Rediff i/v about Bhutan experience!

Little more about Rahul’s family’s connection to Kasauli.
Rahul’s maternal Grandfather Lt. General Thorat was one of the first to settle in Kasauli and his parents still stays there.

I am very much impressed by Mr Katoch’s initaitive in bringing together all the himachali community under one platform. Although I am not a NRI, but still I want to be a part of this community. I am from shimla and a software professional, although looking for a job. Mr Katoch is really and inspiration for me. I have sent this Link to many of My friends.

I guess Rahul Bose is the right kind of guy to be approached for promoting Himachal, instead of Preeti Jinta, etc, as is generally suggested.
I remember having talked to Rahul once while he was in Kasauli. I am sure he loves the place and would agree to be a brand ambassador kind of a thing for the state.
